WARNING:
Sad. As usual. But not that sad like the previous one I made.
…okay, carry on.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was that day, the 14th of February, also known as "Valentine's Day". But to you, it was just like any other ordinary day—nothing special about it. But still, you wanted to greet everyone else a "Happy Valentine's Day".
You started to walk down the halls of your school. Everyone was holding flowers, cards, and other stuff. Just then you saw one of your close friends, Elizaveta, receiving flowers and a card from Roderich. "Aww, how sweet!~" you thought. You longed for someone to do the same for you, yet you highly doubt that anyone has ever really liked you. You walked closer to the two. "Happy Valentine's Day, you two!" you greeted them both, smiling and waving. But to your surprise, they just left, not even bothering to even look at you. "Hmph!" you said to yourself. "Geez, just because it's Valentine's Day, doesn't mean that they have to act all snobbish..."
The bell rang, ad you immediately knew that it was time for you to get into class. As you entered your classroom, you suddenly saw someone out of the corner of your eye. It was your best friend, Matthew Williams. The two of you always did everything together, may it be homeworks, projects, etc. The two of you had spent so much time together, that you've even grow to have a crush on him. "Hey, Mattie!~" you waved at him with a big smile on your face to draw his attention. But, just like your friend Elizaveta, he didn't even bother looking at your direction. You could clearly see in his face that he looked very sad, as if he were about to burst into tears. "I wonder why..." you thought as you sat down on your desk. As the class started, you couldn't help but notice that someone had put a lone white flower in a clear vase on your desk. You began to admire the flower, not even bothering to pay any attention to the teacher.
Once the bell rang, you immediately walked over to Matthew. He still looked very melancholic. "Matthew...?" you started. "What's wrong...?" But he didn't seem to notice you, so he just walked away. You stood there, staring at him as he walked down the hall. Then you decided to just go and ask his brother, Alfred, to see why he isn't noticing you.
As you approached the American, he was smiling cheerfully, as usual. Many people looked at him—he's famous in the school, after all. You tapped his shoulder twice, then stated your problem. "Um, Alfred...why isn't Matthew noticing me...?" you asked. But he didn't reply; and, just like the others, he simply went his way. Now this has somehow annoyed you. "Why isn't anyone able to see me? Why are they all suddenly treating me like...like Matthew?" you said out loud to no one in particular. Just the thought of your friend...your best friend...and how even he himself couldn't see you...hurt you a lot.
Throughout the class, you can't help but take glances at your Canadian friend, on how all throughout he seemed melancholic. And just on the same day when everyone else were happy. "Maybe he got rejected..." you thought to yourself.
At the end of class, you noticed him holding a boquet of flowers, a box of chocolate and a Valentine's card. "So is that why he isn't noticing me...?" you whispered to yourself, thinking that he probably wanted to get his dream girl. "He should've told me earlier...then I would've stopped bothering him a while ago..." You decided to follow him, anyways. You tried your best to blend in with the crowd, even though you were sure that, even if you didn't do that, he wouldn't notice you, anyways.
You were very surprised that, instead of going to someone else's house, he went straight to the cemetery. Confused, you still followed him, nonetheless. He walked towards a certain grave, and gently out down the flowers, chocolates, and card on the tombstone. You tilted your head in confusion. As you saw Matthew slowly disappear, you decided to read the contents of the card.
"Dear __________,
Happy Valentine's Day! I know that it's been over a year since you died, but I still want to tell you that I love you. Every time we spent together when you were still alive were moments that I treasure the most. Sadly, I never had the chance to tell you that before you died. You probably couldn't read this anymore, but if by chance that your spirit is still around...I want to tell you thst I am truly, madly in love with you, even if you're already gone.
Your best friend,
Matthew Williams"
As you read the card, with its tear-stained handwriting, you yourself started to cry. You looked at the tombstone, which read,
"Here lies ______ _______. Born on (your birthday). Died on February 10, 2XXX"
"So that's why nobody can see me..." you whispered to yourself as you continued to cry. "Because I'm...already dead..."
-Extended Ending?-
As Matthew was walking out of the cemetery, he heard a faint crying noise that seemed to come from your grave. It sent chills down his spine. But curiousity got the better of him, so he decided to walk nearer to it. He was surprised to see you as a ghost, holding the card in one hand, and wiping your tears away with the other.
"_-_____?" he exclaimed. Your eyes jolted up to see him. "M-Matthew?!" you said. He went closer to you. "You read the card..." he said, his face turning as red as the roses he put on your grave. "Yeah..." you nodded your head. You felt him wrap his arms around you, and the two of you cried silently in each other's arms for a few moments. Then you felt his warm lips press against your seemingly cold and lifeless ones. Once you two pulled away, he stared into your (e/c) eyes. "I missed you..._______." You just chuckled. "I'm already dead..." you reminded him, and you kissed his forehead. "But I just want to say...thank you." And as you smiled your last, you faded away with the wind, as you have finally gotten your dying wish.
